The bin of the Bend collection is made of two profiles, result of a laser-cut steel sheet of 80/10 thickness, on which a bin, with a door that can be opened and a removable bag-holder in galvanized steel sheet of 20/10 thickness, is hooked. The sides, the bottom, and the door of the bin are made in steel sheet of 20/10 thickness, the back has a thickness of 15/10 and the cover of 8/10 with supports of 20/10. On the sides of the bin slats in exotic hardwood are fixed. The slats have a section of 50x30mm. On the legs, support profiles made in steel sheet of 50/10 thickness, bent on the lower part shaping the feet of the bin, are welded. These come with holes of 10 mm diam. for the fixing to the ground through specific bolts (not provided).
For the realization of this product made in Italy, Steel EN10111DD11 is used and later treated with a cycle of sandblasting, cataphoresis and powder coating. Such cycle is meant to guarantee the protection of the painted products, in an environment of C4 corrosion class, as requested by the UNI regulations EN ISO 12944-2. The products are eventually polyester-powder coated with RAL colours at choice.
The galvanized steel used is steel EN10346DX51D+Z and, unless otherwise stated, is not painted.
The wood used is either Iroko or Okume, treated with natural, water-repellent, UV ray resistant oils.
